BLOOM X BRETAGNE LAUNCH
Last week, the Bloom gals celebrated the launch of Bretagne into Australia with an intimate evening that blurred the lines between fashion presentation and immersive installation. Hosted in celebration of the label’s arrival and our trunk show that weekend, the night brought together industry creatives, friends and family as well as our past and future brides for an experience that felt both elevated and effortlessly undone - a reflection of Bretagne’s signature aesthetic.
Inspired by a lifelong fascination with couture and the transformative power of fashion, Bretagne was born from the belief that designer Brittany has that a gown should feel like stepping into art itself. Each design is created to evoke emotion, confidence, and wonder - weaving the wearer into a moment that changes not only how they look, but how they feel.
To introduce Bretagne, our studio space was transformed through sculptural drapery and stunning styling by our wonderful friend Emily at Harper Arrow, whose vision brought softness and drama in equal measure. Layers of cascading fabric framed the room, creating a setting that felt romantic and rather than overpowering the collection, the styling worked in conversation with it. The Bretagne gowns, known for their fluid draping and modern femininity, were echoed beautifully in the environment around them. Emily’s approach created a sense of intimacy within the space, allowing guests to feel completely immersed in the world of the brand with the result feeling atmospheric, editorial, and reflective of the new era of bridal Bloom continues to champion.
The evening was captured by Dune The Brand, as Pat documented the gowns with his signature eye, balancing candid energy with refined detail. From softly lit moments between guests to the movement of the gowns themselves, the imagery perfectly encapsulated the mood of the launch! Our gorgeous model for the night, Madi, embodied the spirit of the evening, bringing Bretagne’s gowns to life with an ease and confidence that felt distinctly modern. Her presence throughout the launch showcased the gowns and captured the essence of the Bloom bride. Beauty was led by Shannon Hope, whose hair and makeup direction embraced an effortless polish. Fresh skin, undone texture, and subtle glamour complemented the collection naturally, enhancing rather than distracting from the individuality of each look.
The launch marked an exciting new chapter for Bloom and for Australian brides discovering Bretagne for the first time. More than a celebration, the evening was a reflection of the creative community behind the brand - thoughtful, directional, and deeply inspired by the evolving landscape of bridal fashion. We can’t wait to continue to introduce Bretagne to our brides!
