  • Bloom is the exclusive stockist of Danielle Frankel in Australia. This means we're the only place in the country you can try her designs on! Our studio is in Newstead, Brisbane and we carry a wide range of styles from the her collections. Book an appointment, let us know what you're keen to see or we're here to pull a thoughtful edit for you to try. If you're located in another state, no need to worry. We work with out of state brides quite often and we'd be happy to guide you as to the best time to visit. We also work with recommended tailors in every major Australian city, and offer complimentary couriers within Australia.

  • The Danielle Frankel collection at Bloom is priced between $6,490 and $22,900 AUD (including GST). Where you land in that range depends on the style - simpler slip silhouettes sit at the lower end, while the more complex pieces (think hand-painted bodices, elaborate lace appliqué, multi-layered constructions) sit higher. If budget is something you'd like to talk through before booking, just mention it in your appointment notes - we're more than happy to share!

  • We recommended ordering your gown 8-10 months before your wedding date to allow plenty of time for production, shipping and alterations. Danielle Frankel gowns are made to order in her New York City atelier and that timeline gives the studio the space to make each piece properly- some more minilaist styles take 5 months for production whereas more intricate styles will take 6-7 months. Rush options are available for certain styles if your wedding is coming up sooner - please reach out and we can talk through what's possible for your wedding date.

  • This is probably the most common misconception we come across and it's genuinely worth clearing up! Danielle Frankel does gorgeous minimal pieces - the bias-cut silk wool slip gowns are iconic for a reason but the collection is so much more expansive than that. There are dramatic ball gowns with bubble hems, sculptural strapless silhouettes, embellished bustiers, hand-painted florals and some truly extraordinary embroidered pieces. The thread that connects all of it is considered craftsmanship rather than a single aesthetic. If you've dismissed her as 'too minimal' based on a few Instagram images, please come in and try her on properly. You might be very surprised!

  • A few things, honestly. The fabrications are exceptional - she works with silk wool, tissue taffeta, crinkle organza, silk linen organza and silk crepe back satin. Many pieces involve handwork that you simply don't find at this level anywhere else. She also approaches bridal with a fashion eye rather than a traditional bridal lens, which makes her silhouettes feel directional. All of her pieces are made in New York City as well and you can see the small atelier production, real craft and intention behind every detail. Brides who try Danielle Frankel on almost always comment on how different the quality feels compared to everything else they've tried.

  • We carry a broad selection from the current collection including styles like the Leighton, Veda bustier, Arabella, Drew, Priscilla, Bex, Camille, Nina, Noa, Scarlet, Hazel and quite a few more. We also have a selection of her veils, which are genuinely beautiful in their own right (the hand-painted floral cathedral veil is truly something else). The collection evolves each season so the best way to see exactly what's on our floor is to come in and try them on. We'll always pull styles based on what you're drawn to, so bring your references and we can do the rest.

  • Yes! This is something we really love about her collections. Danielle Frankel offers a range of separates including bustiers, skirts (the Dree Skirt and Georgia Skirt are both faves of ours), and the Rory Pants (a silk wool palazzo pant that is frankly the biggest vibe). Separates are brilliant for brides who want to change their look between ceremony and reception or for brides who have a very specific vision and want to build it themselves. We can help you style and mix and match pieces in your appointment.
