Vivienne Westwood BBFW 2026 bridal runway show
Sam and I had the absolute honour of being invited and sitting front row at the first ever Vivienne Westwood bridal runway show as part of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week. Every Westwood enthusiast knows that every runway collection always finishes with a wedding gown, but this year they took it further and put on one of the most beautiful bridal runways I’ve ever seen.
Headlining BBFW 2026, the Vivienne Westwood runway was held at the stunning Universitat de Barcelona which served as a stellar setting to launch their newest bridal designs.
The show kicked off with Simonetta Gianfelici, an Italian model that walked for Vivienne Westwood in the 80s. A perfect way to honour the history that comes from the Vivienne Westwood house.
What followed was a flurry of lace, corsetry (duh), printed rose fabrics in stunning soft pinks and more subtle whites and just a touch of sparkle.
Then to close the show, Vivienne’s husband Andreas Kronthaler, who serves as Creative Director of VW, strutted down the runway, completely embodying that Westwood spirit we know and love.
We've never felt so lucky to be involved in something so so special. Thank you to our wonderful team at Vivienne Westwood for having us and for continuing to surround us with all the beautiful bridal gowns to show our Australian brides.
