Bloom x Danielle Frankel Sydney Trunk Show

36 Sydney brides, 3 days… ooooooh boy! We can’t lie, we were pretty nervous. Our first pop-up attempt in a city that Sam and I both didn’t know well and honestly, it couldn’t have gone much better.

We have multiple interstate brides visiting our studio most weeks, so we figured it was time to take Bloom on tour and bring the Danielle Frankel collection to our gorgeous Sydney brides.

While Sam worked with the wonderful DF team to borrow a wishlist of extra gowns and find a luxe hotel big enough for bridal appointments, I got distracted by all the fantastic places we could have dinner.

When we announced the Bloom x DF Sydney trunk show on the ‘gram, we expected appointments to go fast, but booking out in less than two days with a very healthy waitlist surprised us all - in the greatest of ways!

After a few small hiccups with different time zones between Bris and Sydney (we’re sorry, we’ve learnt our lesson!), we kicked off the weekend with a fab bunch of criminal lawyers who were very down for 8am champagnes pre-work. Each appointment became progressively more fun as our brides and their favourite people finally got the chance to see the stunning Danielle Frankel pieces in person. But no joke, by the end of the weekend, we were very ready to escape the hotel room for a few margs and I was absolutely ready for a break from Sasha’s buttons (if you know, you know).

Sam and I loved meeting all of our Sydney brides and we can’t thank you enough for coming to see us for our first Sydney trunk show.

All the gratitude and shout outs to Amber and David from Mrs Gibbons Flowers for some seriously beautiful blooms, My Private Tailoring for her help with providing alterations for our Sydney girls, Claire from State of Dawn for taking all the BTS photos (and not forcing us to be in any of them) and lastly to our wonderful hotel Pier One Sydney for not only a beautiful room but for always being on hand to assist with our weird requests all weekend!
