NYBFW F/W ‘26 UPCOMING TRENDS

October is here again! How does it keep sneaking up on us every year? Sam was back in action, walking all over her fave city and locking in all our upcoming new favourite gowns. There’s some good ones on their way, Bloom brides, keep your eyes peeled for these pieces hitting our showroom soon!

OLD MONEY, QUIET LUXURY

Everyone wants to feel luxurious and elevated in their gown, and fortunately, the old money vibe is coming in strong! It speaks to brides who love those clean silhouettes, rich fabric and details that whisper… never shout.

Silk that glides, intentional flattering tailoring and maybe a sneaky heirloom piece of jewellery here and there. Old money is a style rooted in tradition but feels refreshed with that modern twist.

No one does that old money feel better than Danielle Frankel and we’re very excited about the newness landing from her latest collection! Keep your eyes peeled for the arrival of the Ivy bustier - an update on a Bloom fave, the Anika bustier - as well as the Arden skirt coming in the most luxe taffeta fabric.

SCULPTURAL SKIRTS

As a strong advocate for tulip skirts, the Bloom girls are so excited to see this trend coming back around. The tulip skirt allows brides to lean into that sculptural feel without losing femininity and you know that we’re so here for it!

While we’re definitely championing tulip skirts the most, scultputal skirts in general are on the rise. We’re excited to add a few new pieces with that fun twist to make a minimal gown feel oh so interesting- we’re still dreaming about this incredible off the shoulder gown from Bretagne.

Adding that architectural vibe to your look is such a playful way to experiment with your silhouette and feel fresh and contemporary! We highly recommend keeping watch for Elly Sofocli’s Lune gown, joining our racks in early 2026

A SPLASH OF SPARKLE

We’ve said it before, we’re all just minimal girls! But this season, we’ve been drawn to some beading. But only in the cases where it feels intentional and adds depth to the gown without becoming overwhelming. With film photography still on the rise, a little sparkle gives your photography that delicate and luminous look.

We’re beyond excited to officially introduce our brides to a new friend of ours.. Bretagne! Made in Canada, based in New York and now on their way to Australia, obviously the Bretagne corsetry is next level, but the embellishments make it feel so fun!

Otherwise if you’re still only wanting to just dip your feet into the sparkle pool, Nikeen at Asar London has started sourcing the most gorgeous vintage brooches to pair with his luxe sandwashed silk gowns! The easiest way to add just a little somethin’ somethin’ to your look.

HIGHER NECKLINES

Always bringing the elegance and just a touch of saucy, higher necklines have been a go-to silhouette for the fashion-forward bride.

Halters aren’t just reserved for slim gowns either! We’ve been stoked to see that they’re sneaking their way into ballgowns too. As seen in Elly’s new offering, Gracie. Obsessed with how the high neckline paired with a fuller skirt brings such a regal vibe to your look.

Such a classic style for the ceremony, but also so so fun for the party if you’re looking for an outfit change into something more soft and slinky!

LACE: TEXTURAL ROMANCE

Beautiful lace adds texture to a gown like no other fabric and while we love them, we’re fussy about our lace! Beyond excited to be able to introduce a few gowns ranging from a delicate chantilly to a bolder corded lace to our collection.

Vivienne Westwood is always killing it but we’ve been waiting for the perfect lace piece and here she is… introducing Darling! We’re beyond excited for this one!!

We also found ourselves drawn to Bretagne’s hero gown Genevieve. In a silhouette we’ve long admired but have struggled to find the one we’re totally obsessed with. Until now! With that beautiful soft cape draping into a long sleeve, she’s completely unlike anything we’ve seen in a hot minute. We can’t wait for her arrival!

Finding yourself drawn to a gown you never expected? Happens to the best of us! Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming trunk shows with our designers so you can try on these beauties for yourselves. We’ll be announcing dates as soon as we have them locked in!
