REAL BRIDE BLOG: BETH

Up next is Beth and Sam’s garden party wedding! Wearing one of my personal favourite Danielle Frankel gowns in the beautiful grounds of Gabbinbar, Beth and Sam’s wedding is one for the books! And that’s of course, why it’s here on our real bride blog - read on to find out more!

THE PROPOSAL:

On holiday in Switzerland, on top of Mt Eiger - Sam proposed with a solitaire oval diamond (with a touch of help from his mum and a diamond specialist).

THE VIBES:

With visions of a garden ceremony and on a visit to relatives nearby, Beth and Sam stopped in Toowoomba to view Gabbinbar. Being everything they were looking for, they ended up booking it that day!

The dress code for their day was black tie so their guests could feel like their best bougie selves, but the overall feel remained relaxed so that the newlyweds could enjoy every moment soaking up time with their guests.

Beth loved her ceremony - feeling all the nerves leading up to it but then walking down the aisle and seeing Sam smiling at her from the other end was her highlight of the day. The stunning weather and singing birds were a welcome addition to their ceremony and perfectly set the tone for the rest of their beautiful day!

THE DRESS SEARCH:

Beth first came to Bloom for a sample sale appointment. Ignoring our advice (naughty!) to shop around first before coming to a sale appointment, she clearly wasn’t scared away by my gentle scolding as she returned a few months later to explore our broader made-to-order collection.

Set on her vision of wearing Danielle Frankel and loving those warmer tones, we worked our way through her entire collection, shortlisting as we went. Initially keen on wearing Noa, who remained a strong contender, but in the end just couldn’t quite compete with Camille! Drawn to the stunning hand-pleated silk wool fabric and bubble hem, but hoping for another element, Beth ended up adding the chantilly lace Rebecca bolero later as a point of difference between her ceremony and reception looks.

Beth ended up coming back a handful of times for second look and styling appointments and to just catch us up on all her wedding planning adventures - we love when you guys come back multiple times, makes it feel so included since we can’t be there on your day!

THE GOWN:

Beth wore the Danielle Frankel Camille as well as the Rebecca bolero for her ceremony. She completed her look with a Kait Grace two tier minimal veil in pale ivory to match with the warm tones of her gown.

A CUTE COINCIDENCE:

Beth walked down the aisle to the song Bloom by the Paper Kites. Feels correct she was surrounded by Bloom on her day!
